Nikon SB 900

Hi,

How do you folks power your SB900 Flash units?

This is my first 'proper' flash gun and I am having some battery issues.

The Eon Lithium Batterys that they sold me with the flashgun last like 15 mins tops.

Any ideas for better lasting batteries?

The sb 900 does have good efficiency, I used to easily get 200 shots out of mine...you obviously have some very bad batteries

Jessops do hahnel 2800mah and they are pretty decent.

Likewise, I use Uniross Hybrio rechargeable or Sanyo eneloop and easy get a few hundred shots.

Amazon sell the 2800 Uniross for about £6 for 4 or the eneloops 2100 for about the same cost.

I use eneloops or the 7 day shops good to go in my sb800 and both last a while.
