NIKON SB-600 WOES

Went to take some end of game presentations last night and my SB-600 didnt want to play;
Fully charged set of batteries been used. Camera wouldnt fire flash, so had to battle on flash free. Tried firing the flash using the 'test' button and the unit makes a 'click' noise but the flash does not fire, and then the ready light comes back on, confused as what do next.

Any advice would be great.

are you sure its set right what camera have you got, have you used it wirless and forgot to change the cam setting back.

D7000 has worked OK on prior to last night without any issues. Wouldn't the test button fire the flash no matter what it was set to?

yes your right the test button should fire it, can youhear it charge, have you tried different batteries.

STAF EDIT: Removed illegal trading by another member.

Checked and can see a very small -arc looking down front of gun, looking on web it does appear to be the bulb that is dead , whats your turnaround time. Unit is covered under Pro insurance, so just need to check the way they want to play it and also my excess.
