I'm interested in astrophotography. I use a D3300 and 500mm mirror lens. As the viewfinder isn't available when the camera is pointing upwards, I use a video capture device via the HDMI output to feed a tablet.
This gives a much bigger screen to monitor live-view. However, there is a time lag of a second or so between what the camera 'sees' and the image on the tablet.
Can anyone tell me if this time lag is apparent when viewing live-view via Wi-Fi to a remote screen?
