Hi,

Was just about to put my D40 setup for sale on here but realised i need 100 posts:bang:

My question is : Is the D90 worth the extra cash over the D80?

i wouldnt say so unless you really need HD video on your dslr. IQ is better and more megapixels but i wouldnt swap my d80 for a d90.

To balance the response I would say yes it is.

I haven't used the HD-video side of it at all (yet)....Live View is fantastic for getting focus spot on - particularly macros; there is the ability to get more keepers from shooting with a higher ISO too.

Do your research and work out what you require for your needs.

Only had a quick play with the D90 but i think its a good upgrade from the D80,much better iso,bigger screen but A/F not that much different:shrug:
