Nikon do not do codec for Win 7 x 64 bit, that's the problem.

Well it's not really a problem now because I've gone from Nikon to Panasonic.

I stumbled across that codec yesterday whilst looking for the D7000 firmware update. I saw there was an update for ViewNX2 too, and after running that update it dumped a link to the Win7 64 codec on my start menu. As it includes the J1 and V1 I assume it is very recent. Triple bonus

Funny how that Nikon Message Centre update program doodie says there are no recent updates to any of the above :thumbsdown:
