Well as i've only really had experience with Canon's EF lenses and a dabble with a friend's FD AE-1 i have no idea about Nikon's system.
What i'm particularly interested in is what do the levers, posts, notches and tabs do or mean on Nikon lenses? I've had a look on the interweb but as i have no idea about the terminology or what i'm looking at my brain stalled :bonk: are there any websites that start from the basics?
I'm not planning on switching
just my curiosity getting the better of me
