Nikon Lens Out For Christmas Shocker!

The VRII version of the 70-300mm Nikon lens has reached the shops for Christmas (well one has as my local dealer just emailed me to see if I still wanted the one I ordered in September )

Yeah a local dealer in Weybridge (Surrey) Wey Cameras (.co.uk if you want to contact them) They did say they had a "waiting list" so you might be better checking out some of the "big boys" (run a search on www.camerapricebuster.co.uk) - I see there's some lenses on Ebay already if you're feeling adventurous!

As I wasn't in any rush (fortunately with Nikon's track record) to order one of these lenses I contacted Kerso here on the Forum to put some business his way (gives me a warm glow & he is always held in high esteem here!)
He replied straight away that he was getting TWO of these lenses this week & mentioned they are like the proverial "hens teeth"
If anyone wants one he can get you one for £365 & £10 postage - no guarantee it'll be here for Xmas but he will try his best ... Paul
