Good Morning,

Can anyone advise on where I can find how many shots are left on the roll. Without opening of course.
Film must have been sat in there for four or five years.

Well I surmised that there would be a 'frame counter' somewhere on this camera.....

And at approx 4mins 55seconds there is a view of him loading a film and it showing the frame counter at "1"

Therefore, why not put some batteries in and see what is displayed when you turn it on :thinking:
 
I think its knackered.

E in right hand corner and wont advance film at all.
 
There's unlikely to be a mechanical counter, and the data was probably lost when the internal battery (I suspect there was one) failed.

Ah! a very good point.
 
TBH, I'd just rewind the film (if possible) using the early rewind button (pretty sure there'll be a manual on the web somewhere if you don't have one) or by using a changing bag, opening the back and pulling the film out as gently as possible before manually winding it back into the cannister.
