Hi Guys

A quick question on the Histogram ..

On the Nikon D810 can you have the histogram ""continuously on the screen"" in live view mode just like the D500 ?

I know that in live mode on the d810 I can take a shot then check the info and also check the histogram to ensure the correct exposure, however, rather than take the shot then go back and review the image to check the histogram - is it possible to have the histogram displayed on the live view screen so that I can make the necessary adjustments on the fly without having to take the shot and continuously stop to review the image every time ?

You can, on mine you put it LV and then cycle through the options with the info button.

I don`t appear to have that option , I get the electronic Level , screen clear, screen with lines and that`s all.

Would there be an option to add the Histogram somewhere within the menu ? I have checked but can`t seem to find it .. as I indicated previously , I only seem to have the histogram "after" I`ve taken a shot and then review it .. hmmmmmm :thinking:

Live view needs to be in movie mode to get a histogram, it seems ...
 
Ha! I just found that video too via google. Great stuff. Old dogs can still learn new tricks!
