Nikon D7000 - Price

Hello

First post...but have been reading a lot recently and hope you can help.

After much research have decided to buy the Nikon D7000. I could buy it refurbished from my local camera shop for £625 (with a 18-105mm lens), with this it only comes with a 6 month warranty.

or HDEW are selling it new (via HK) for £669 but with a 3 yr extended warranty.

Whcih avenue would you recommended?

I bought my D7000 from HK and had no issues, either option would be fine, just depends how much you value the warranty.
I'm all for running the risk without a warranty and saving the money, if I took an extended warranty on everything I bought I'd be way out of pocket compared with the minimal number of failures I've suffered. But that's just me.

Either way I think you'll be really pleased with the camera, mines been great and can produce some great photos.
 
body only on the classifieds here for around £420-450 and then add your lens would be my recommendation
