Yes
So I have a Nikon D7000 that Ive been using for time lapses, but the intervalometer internal can only shoot JPEG and its max amount of shots it can take is 999. Is there a intervalometer for external use that will take as may shots as I want. So say I want to take 4000 shots over a full day.

Had a look and the photonix one only does 399 shot max, which seems crap and also I'd like to shoot in Raw for them too.

Thanks in advance.

If the Photonix one is the same as my "Shoot" one then you can also set the number of shots to infinity.

I've not used it yet (got it for my D610) but if it's the same as my D700 then it will shoot whatever format your camera is set to take.

They all look the same and in 3 links its went from £40 to £15 to a tenner. Lol

Thanks

Not correct, I shot 500 odd raw frames using it at the weekend. Just set the format to raw and start the intervalomer.

But yes the limit is 999 unless you get an external one, which I think is daft and Nikon did update some newer cameras to allow 9999. Why it can't be set to unlimited though I don't know.

Just put batteries in mine and tested it, it's a bit plasticky but works fine.

For a tenner tho its not so bad, ordered one. Just wish I'd had it sunday when my camera made a small mistake and wasted a afternoons stuff. Oh well i'll get it next year
