Hello all...after a quick review of todays shots from Ingleton and Ribblesdale I think it's time to take the sensor cleaning plunge.

Which Arctic Butterfly will I need for my D70? ...do they come with a single 'brush' for individual sensor sizes or do they come with different brushes for different sensor sizes?

The standard AB comes with a small brush that's meant to work with all sensors.

The pro kit comes with a selection of brushes, including a thicker wider one for fulll-frame sensors.

I've got the pro kit and I've found the standard brush works best on my 5D sensor.

Incidentally, I've got the best results by cleaning the sensor with Eclipse E2 fluid and a swab, and then using the AB brush to pick up any specks of dust or dirt that have been dislodged by the swab. Shooting a plain background on f/22 after a swab with Eclipse fluid often shows the odd speck or hair that has been dislodged but not picked up by the swab.

Thanks Anorakus :)

I thought I'd save myself the money and reach for the digi-pads and fluid I've had stashed away for a good long while.

Worked a treat, took a quick test shot and it's as clear as a bell

...£50 saved :D
