Hey,

I've set up my D60 to take photos pointing out of the window of my room, and I've been using an ML-L3 remote to take the shots whenever something interesting passes. However, when I set the release mode to remote, I can take photos like this for a little while, but then the release mode resets back to manual, and the remote ceases to work.

I think it resets once at least one photo has been taken, and the camera has been inactive for a few minutes.

Is there any way around this? Having to keep resetting the camera to remote shutter release sort of defies the point of using a remote for multiple exposures!

Thanks.

If it's anything like the D40 you can choose from 1,5,10 or 15 minutes duration from the CSM/Setup menu.

Have you got & read the manual? You can download a PDF one from the Nikon website.

Cheers, I set the Remote Timer option to appear in the menu, then set it to the max of 15 minutes. Is there no way to have it fixed as remote until otherwise specified?
