Hi all i have a D80 at the moment and want to upgrade, would you go for the D5200 or the D7000 and why ..

D7000 - user controls are better than the D5200 (or any D5xx) + in body af motor. imo/e a more natural upgrade from the D80.
 
I'd go for the 7000 because that's what I've got........and I love it!
 
Thanks for that lads i have seen a D7000 on WEX for £284 in i will get that on Monday :-)
 
Another vote for the D7000, great camera with in body motor.
 
My other half has a D5200, which I sometimes use. Having had a D90 before I would say go for the D7000 as the twin control dials are much more user friendly than the single one on the D5200. Image quality for the D5200 is excellent though, so no compromise there, plus it's a slightly smaller, lighter body.

You regularly see them in the classifieds here for around £200, MPB photographic have a stock of them too.
