Nikon d5100 with Yongnuo 568ex HSS

Hi Guys
Am i correct in thinking that even if i buy a Yongnuo 568ex with HSS i wont be able to use the high speed sync feature with my camera, a D5100, ive read somewhere that because my camera doesnt have FP Built in to it, so regardless of the flash i wont have HSS, is this correct?

Your camera will not do hss - need d90 or d7k or above. Sorry
