Nikon d3xxx vs d5xxx

I want to buy my daughter a camera for her birthday. She is an interior designer so it will be used primarily for interiors, furniture and fabrics. Ideally she probably needs a D810 and Nikon 14-24 but I don't have that budget.
If anyone has experience or informed view of d3300, d3400 or d5400, d5500 I would welcome your advice.
Photos will mainly be for website but I suspect A3 prints will also be required.

for interiors I would have thought being able to get the widest view if needed mattered most?

If she has any hipster tendencies, an old film body might appeal! Paired with a Sigma 12-24 (according to some reports better controlled rectilinear distortions than the Nikkor 14-24 but slower in terms of max aperture) it would be cheaper than a D??00 and Sigma 10-20.

If she knows that she's getting a camera, how about asking her to tell you what she needs it to do in terms of features, then sitting down with spec sheets to see which suits her wants/needs and your pockets!

Yes I agree, both cameras have the same 24mp Aps-c sensor, I have a virtually unused sigma 10-20 f3.5 she can use with whichever Nikon DX camera she gets.
