Nikon D3x vs???

I borrowed my mates D3 for a couple of days, so I could also use his 14-24 and fisheye. Normally I use a D90 and a D3200, understanding that I would need full frame lenses what is the nearest kind of non pro body to look at around that kind of spec? D600/610 , D750???

What's your budget? Used D750's can be had for around £1000, D610's for a bit less.

If it was a D3 then a S/H D3 would give you the exact spec and a S/H D700 would come very close ... if it was a D3X then there are a number of 24MP models available, e.g. D750 (though it's cut down in some features e.g. no dedicated back-button focus) or move up to a D8xx with 36MP

In my book, nothing out performs it on all
points… on some maybe!

The suggestion of the D750 is darn good!

Or a not so heavily used D3.....boxed, owned from new and serviced by Nikon annually - for a lot less than a second hand D750.
