Hi Folks,

Well, what a day. Been to Manchester on the Solutions Expo on the road and tested both the Nikon D3 and D300 cameras and some really nice lenses. :D

The D3, is the ultimate digital SLR on this planet, and I can see I lot of Canon users going to Nikon or going back to them with this camera.

The D300, is a nice camera like the Nikon D200. So I think this will be a winner for who has not got the money for the D3.

So, sell your house, your car or your wife and get the NIKON D3 !!!

Thanks,

Paul

And the images you took will be posted.............. when ?:D

Well the Nikon D3 full frame is 5 year to late and 8 mega pixels short, so why would I want a D3 over my Canon 1DSMK2.

Agree that ISO 25,600 is not going to be superb, but it will certainly be better than no photo at all. I love the flexibility that gives. For sure the next Canon will again shoot for claim to be top-dog, as will the next Nikon after that. The real benefit comes in the lower categories, as the next Nikon entry level will be having the low noise, high ISO etc.

Amazing how far photography has come. I was watching the Genius of Photography tonight, describing when cameras didn't have shutter speeds to freeze street scenes - now we can do it in near darkness.

Take photos that is.
