I am a 73 year old old school photographer ( Well I am 73 )
I have a Nikon D200 which I am really happy with ?
But I came across a problem while taking some photo's of my model railway ?
On the viewing screne I get a blocked section with graphic scyscrapers which is for the picture just taken ?
I am at a loss as to how I can remove this ?

Hi Richard, I've just moved your thread to a more appropriate part of the forum.

I think the graphic skyscrapers is a histogram and it will be for the scene that is showing in the viewfinder, not the previous picture. There's going to be a setting in the menu system that lets you turn off the histogram in the viewfinder.

If the D pad cycles through the pictures using left/right then try going up/down to cycle through what aspects of the picture are being displayed.

If that doesn't work, try pressing Info when it is displaying a picture as some Nikon's can display a histogram when you do that.

You can change what is displayed under menu- display (triangle in top left) and then the setting which allows you to add or remove what it displays (which I can't remember the name of).

Thank you your method was the correct one
