Nikon Capture NX2 unable to open files.

Hi Guys,

Gutted my mac the other day as it has started to run a little slow, and when starting the applications again it began asking me for serial codes again.

I have a copy of Nikon Capture NX2, but i no longer have the serial code and cannot get it to restore to working as it did (full version).

I un-installed the version that I had and then re installed the trial version for now. Upon opening the software to begin editing some work it is now telling me that it can't open my d700 files, but it worked fine everytime before. I'm a little miffed at this as is it the most recent version too (2.3.0).

Anyone shed any light onto the situation?

How about using a time machine back up?

I dunno about latest versions but, NX2 pre-dates the D700 by a couple of months or so, it is likely that an update was issued when the D700 came to town that allows NX to open D700 files.
This would be my line of enquiry...
