anyone use the above item ?
looking for feedback about how good or bad the results are when you use it
it will mostly be on my nikon 70-200 f2.8 mk1 model
also on my nikon 200-500 f5.6

I’ve used it on the 70-200mm f2.8 VRII and it performed admirably, very difficult to detect any difference in IQ, and AF was good too.
 
Used it on both and it works very well, small affect on AF on the 200-500 but perfectly acceptable.
 
I use it with my 70-200 vr2 - works excellently.
Not sure, if you might be asking a little much from the 200-500 lens - as you will be at f8 MIN but its worth a try..
 
I've used one on my 70-200 VR2 without any problems. The 200-500 works ok for static subjects but i've found it a waste of time for anything that moves fairly quickly. I've tried it multiple times on motorsport and aviation and it is a waste of time. I now won't even attempt it in those situations. You didn't mention it but it works much better on the 500 F5.6 PF.
