Just bought this lens for her indoors to replace an 18-70mm that had seen better days.(I'll still be using it though) When out shooting runners, I always pick a prime that suits the race and stick to that. Parkrun this morning ... 85mm. Reason I stay away from zooms is that I'll start changing the focal length and miss the shot. I know what I'm like. I use a 35 or 50 or 85mm. If I could train myself NOT to do this, how does the 24mm to 85mm perform for fast moving.objects? Forget the f3.5-f4.5 argument against f1.8 of my primes.
