Yes
And also 600 f4 d asf2.
How much would you expect these to sell for second hand.
Both are optically perfect and the lens bodies are perfect. The 500mm has minor scuff marks on the lens hood. They are less than 12 months old and the seller is finding them too heavy to carry around.
The prices new in the uk are about £4,800 and £5,999 respectively.
The 500 is being offered at £3,700 and the 600 is I think about £4,800. Both are about £1,100 less than buying new, but considering the new price includes 17.5% tax, are these prices about right or a little high ?

Given the new prices you quote I'd say these figures are probaby about right, and on a par with the equivalent Canon lenses, which tend to drop around £1000 from the brand new price, although they often go for more.

The weight of these lenses is a serious consideration as carting them around is no minor undertaking. It's very unusual for one person to buy both these lenses - he must be a glutton for punishment.;)

Just to be clear ;) I'm only considering buying one of them

LOL. Think carefully which one you want/need. There's a link I'll try to find which may help. It's the Canon versions - but the same issues.
