Nikon 18-55 vr ii

Hi everyone,

This is kind of a follow up on an earlier thread. Anyway...

This Nikon 18-55 kit lens. Anyone using it and getting decent results? I am wondering if it might do me considering my quite low budget. I am thinking of using it for street photography and the occasional wide angle shot. More interested in the 18-28 range (I am taking the crop factor into account). It's not so fast but it has stabilisation and I am not concerned about trying to create good bokeh at all.

Also curious what you think of the 55-200

Some thoughts?

I've used one on a D7k andwas suitably impressed with it. I paid ~£65 i think from MPB.
