Is anyone using this lens? I've been seriously considering selling a few things around the house that I never use anymore to finance some more photography equipment, as it's pretty much taken over my life so things like my games consoles have been redundant for months now, even in the 'quiet' season for my photography. I don't want a circular fisheye so this seems perfect.

I'm mainly wondering if it would get much use. I wouldn't want to overuse it but I can think of plenty of times when one would make an interesting picture. For example I've had a request to shoot some rear curtain sync shots of a car at night around a roundabout, whilst my Sigma 10-20mm will be on duty for that it would have been nice to have one or two fisheye efforts as well for the owner of the car, just as something different.

people seem to be a bit against fisheyes here, but the 10.5mm is a great lens, im not sure about buying it just for that one reason, but they're great for making more original looking landscape photos, and the distortion is nicer than the stretched out look from the 10-20mm.

I use the 10.5 a lot & Love it, Sometimes the 10-20 just ain't wide enough & with care can give very different results if that’s what you’re after. The biggest problem is keeping yourself out of the frame. After Photoshop correction the image can be made to look just like a very ultra wide shot. There are 3 or 4 in my gallery if you care to view.
