Hi all

I want a nice looking shoulder bag for a body (5dII), lens (50/1.4 or 28-70L) and a speedlight (430exII) with a pocket for a v small notebook, pen, spare battery, memory cards, radio triggers and a tiny reflector (5cm folded) with a flash foot.

I have a bag thats plenty big enough but is fairly ugly I particularly want a nice looking one for going out smart (furs and vintage coats). And no bigger than the body with lens and speedlight as its for non specifically photographic days out.

I've been looking but to no avail :(

I use a Crumpler muffin top 7500 and it's very stylish indeed... They do a few sizes but this is the largest and should suit your needs. They can be had for around £55.

:D @ you two

crumpler are a bit 'bright' (my mate has one)

billingham are dear

it's a tricky one as I'm, being fairly particular

Nice looking guys shoulder bag? Don't ask me then, I'm not nice looking!

I normally use a BM gasmask bag or a MON50 satchel. A real man's man bag :D

another vote for the crumpler, get the largest size, they seem to be making them smaller these days...

ding dong :D

I want a small bag, not oversized, so something discreet. Which Crumpler would you recommend to carry the following?

5D + Grip with 24-70L mounted
135L

That is literally all I want in it. MAYBE, space for a 430EX as well, but not essential.

maybe pop into tkmaxx, sometimes they have some ok looking bags in there...

Domke f2?
Have got two of them - stylish and very decent quality - not hugely expensive either.

To give you a rough idea.

This is a 5500 with the D90 + 18-105, Sigma 70-300, Nikon 50mm and flash.

I use a lowepro classified 200aw if I need to take out a shoulder bag, looks pretty good and not like a camera bag particually

Thanks for posting that, massive help. I might struggle with the 5500 though as I have a grip on the 5D. This gives me a good idea though.

Have you checked the review out for the redsnapper bag. Think it looks nice and is another item on my purchase list.

edit: actually probably a little large for your req's

 See! PAH! This is impossible - every post I make!

:)
