Hi

Got asked by a friend if I did newborn pictures. Politely said no - in sure I could get some decent pics but it's a pretty specialised field.

Instead I said I'd ask around and recommend a few people!

So. Who's available around the Leeds area?
 
Rob Mank, member here, utter gent and the best newborn photographer I can name. Barnsley (ish) but well worth the trip down the A1

As soon as I posted the question I sent her his name. Hadn't seen him in here for a while but wasn't sure if he was still working!

He's doing a lot of training ATM but he's still working.

I think you could do it if you put your mind to it (with no pressure), I've had a couple of goes, nothing amazing, but I was pleased with them.

I'm sure I could do it, but my friend sees the standard of my portraits and I wouldn't want to let her down by having something which wasn't of a similar standard.

And Robs stuff is excellent!

Whilst my portraits aren't to your standard, I set myself a fairly simple set of goals I knew I could achieve (and lots of time), and I think they're as good as anything I've ever done.

However, I recommend Rob to everyone who asks., his stuff is sublime and he's a really nice bloke (Sorry, stopped posting for the cycling)
