Newbie wondering what gear allowed at Leuchars Airshow

Hi all

Being in the early stages of developing a great new hobby of digital photography I have tickets to the Leuchars Airshow on the 13th Sept and was looking for advice from Airshow veterans if possible.

I was thinking of taken a Monopod with me but looked on the Airshow website and the back of the ticket but could not find if there are any restrictions of items allowed.

I know from previous attempts of trying to use my telephoto lens without any aid have been rather disappointing :thumbsdown:.

I have a Canon 400d and 90-300 lens. (not the greatest)

I would be extremely grateful for any pointers.....:)

No restrictions, just be considerate where you put your tripod :)
 
Should be fine mate.

All the Air shows I have ever been to are fine with pretty much any kit you take in, always loads of people with Tripods.

I will now consider taken my tripod.

Don't take any lenses that look like rocket launchers though....
