Hi all, my name is David and I'm from West Lothian, Scotland or Armadale if you know the area.

I bought my first dslr a few weeks ago (Nikon d3100) with 18-55mm and 55-200 mm lens. Although this is an entry level dslr I am very impressed with it so far, most likely due to my lack of experience but for now it will do.

I am new to this so I don't profess to know it all, I am hoping this community will guide me as I aim to produce some fantastic shots :-)

Why not take part in our annual TP Day coming up soon 9th September, Where you take a photo on that day and post it on the forum, then all the Photos are made into a slideshow, Click the logo for more details, it's lots of fun to be a part of it:thumbs:
 
:)Thank You, in time I will share some of my ametuer(ish) photo's

I am not sure what my areas of interest are just yet although im spending a lot of time going out to take photos at night :)

I am after opinions on courses available, particularly online/self study as i work full time and cant attend college etc.
