Newbie saying hi

Ive been lurking for a while taking notes and reading advise etc, I have bought a Pany Lumix FZ38 as a starting tool and I am currently learning the ropes with this camera. Bought a few books and currently reading through the (very helpfull)tutorials section.
Give it a while and I might be brave enough to post up a first picture, but waaaay off from that yet, I am learing DOF, ISO, Aperture etc etc:bonk:
