I've just bought an XT1 and a fuji 35mm lens. Initially when I attached the lens, the camera wouldn't focus nor take a picture. Googling around, I figured out that it was because the lens wasn't attached properly. I re-attached it a couple of times and then it was sorted.
But, the lens only seems to connect when I insert it, turning it clockwise, waiting for a click - and then, I have to twist it counter clockwise again to hear another click. If I don't turn it back left, it doesn't connect properly. Is this normal or is there likely an issue with either the camera or lens?
Looking at the manual it doesn't say anything about needing to turn it left again. Sorry if there's an obvious answer to this, I've never handled lenses before.
