John here from the Wirral. Never owned a serious camera until last year when my 11 year old decided she was interested. 2 wonderful sites nearby, Chester Zoo and Dee Marshes RSPB.

My photography journey so far has been a never ending series of disappointments culminating in a realization that my kit is more expensive than my daughters..... and she takes much more artistic photos than I ever could.

Im on the Wirral too mate, I'm also trying to put in enough practice so as I have a head start on my daughter (she's 5 and a half months but a very quick learner :lol:)
