Hey guys,
really new here.....
am considering to buy a new compact.
gave my previous one away to my sis...

am thinking about either the sony T100 or the coolpix S500..
budget around 600 to 700.
don't want too bulky one coz i want it to be easily carried, may be around the size of the sony.

oh yea, what's the difference between the T100 and T20 actually ah...
seems like around the same to me.

With a budget like that you could be in the DSLR range - but if it's slim & slinky you're after, have a look at the Pentax Optio W20....

As Phil says you could buy two or more good compacts for that money. Pentax make great slim compacts.
 
Problem is there are so many compact cameras you won't find someone that knows about particular models unless you are very lucky. Means reading lots review sites to get your own answers....and still not being sure!

My wife just got a new compact and it took a lot of research. In the end she went for the Panasonic TZ3. She likes it but having seen the noise reduction at work in low light I'd have taken it back!
 
600-700 what?

Remember folks, that they may not be UK based, so the 600-700 could be dollars, etc
 
True - could be Turkish Lira....where are you Amelia?
 
About 3 Singapore Dollars to the pound so any of the above will fit your budget, even less than UK prices over there :)
