Hello people im quite new to photography.

i did own a d3300 until i dropped it and broke it lol and i was still in the learning process of using the features and learning how to take different shots in different conditions etc .

So im now looking for a new (well 2nd hand) camera and im wishing to get a compact system camera. Must have a 180 tilt screen (for fishing purposes) . I've found two, the samsung nx3000 and the lumix gf6 both for £130 a piece . what would be the best to get out of them? will probably be taking a lot of pics in low light/ middle of the night shots so im looking for something thats less grainy at a higher iso... any help suggestions please. if another camera its got to have wifi or nfc or bluetooth

Samsung has pulled out of the market so if you're looking to invest heavily in lenses you need to consider there will be no more new cameras. That being said I really like my nx10 and 30mm set up.

There may not be much in it, but I'd push for the Samsung; that does have a larger sensor which, depending what you end up shooting, if long exposures or high ISO etc, will definitely be an improvement!

26.8.jpg Thanks for the replies. LCS 99% of my shots will be fishing related self takes like in the picture provided. And other close up wildlife and general scenery from around the lakes i fish

I see! So, given this situiotn, I think you should actually try them out yourself and see which you like the feel of the most, since the sensor size won't really affect you for the majority of what you're doing :)

Thanks. I'm never going to be a David Bailey lol. I just like the best quality i can get from what im doing. Some of the self takes with fish may appear in the fishing mags so its gotta be half decent lol

Something with a really wide lens to make the fish look even bigger, and a good quality wrist strap in view of your previous experience and proximity to water ;-)

Olympus e-pL7 and any of the wideish primes, that's if the 14-42 kit zoom is too dim at max wide aperture.
This camera is marketed on its flip-down selfie screen, which of course I do not use, but then I do not catch huge fish for my own delectation.
I do own a hat.
