Hi all
Just a line to say hello, I got my first Digi SLR on Saturday
after only being use to 35mm in the past, i was surprised to see how much software was available with the camera.
I've been use to a wind up 35mm (no batteries) no second chances on exposure
So I will need help/advise on all the tweeks etc
looking forward to hearing from you

Hi Quedash - made the same hyperleap just recently - wouldn't go back to film now.

I ended up getting the Canon 450D with Kit lens and a Tamron 70-300 as on offer at Jessops I decided on paying a little more at the retail shop because they have been very helpful with my choice as i have only done 35mm SLr in the past.
I find the digital bit hard to grasp as in the past its been check your F's and shutter speed, then think of england and go for it

Can't wait for my holidays to snap away
All i need now is tripod some filters and I am happy
