Just found this forum after owning my EOS 350d for over a year now. I have taken some nice shots with this camera and learnt a little about apeture, shutter speed, iso, exposure compensation etc.
However I look at most of the pictures you guys and girls post on here and am left envious at how good the images look. I think I need to get to grips with the white balance etc and want to make my images look more 3d ish if that makes sense.
I recently purchased an EFS 18-55 IS lens as this had pretty decent reviews and I dont need massive telephoto capabilities at preset.
Just wanted to know how I could improve my shots and do I need to learn post image processing to get the best out of my camera.
Here are a couple of pictures I have taken so far. Any tips and comments would be welcome as I am off to Scotland next week and would love to take some decent shots.
