Newbie Help Please

Hi all am just starting out in the world of photograthy,i have just bought the Sony a350 with dt 18-70 mm lens I have been looking at portable studio kits as I want to start learning doing portraits. I want to know what would be a good starter pack, also would I have to get a new lens and flash gun. Any help or pointers will be much appreciated.

Hmmn... the kits in that link seem seriously overpriced for their spec. I'll leave other people to recommend specific brands, but you might want to look at this guide on choosing which studio lights to buy before you go any further

my budget is 500 quid i have seen a few but not clued up on them. Been told i need more power then 150watts dont know if thats true i just need guidance to make sure i get a good setup for my money
