Newbie From West Midlands

Hi All,

Just thought i'd introduce myself. I'm Mark. New to photography, have been interested in it since I was a child, my grandad used to take and develop his own photos in his later days.
It was only recently I managed to pick up an Olympus E420 for £100 off ebay (and since spent about another £150 - £200 on accessories) which has started me off.
Looking to get some help/comments/critique on my shots and also see if there are any fellow west midlanders who want to go on photo day expeditions as it can get a bit lonley now my mrs is expecting our first child.

Well thats about it I think.

Judging from the replys/critique I have had on my first posts I have a LOT to learn. Perhaps there would be someone from the midlands who could help me, meet up with to mentor me on shoots etc. Any Offers?

Wednesfield and I'm interested in all photography really, it all gets me excited but especially like Macro, Landscapes, Long Exposure and Light Painting

None of them really my bag but if you ever fancy sport i am the club photographer at AFC Wulfrunians in Castlecroft and you and any other togs are always welcome

Hi Malcolm.

I'm based in Wednesfield. I should get myself out to one of these meets as really do need to meet some other photographers to nab tips and tricks off.
