Hi everybody I'm John and new to TP. My story is, I suspect, a pretty familiar one: I packed in work last year, got a decent camera & lenses as a retirement present and then spent 12 months learning how to use it & trying to improve.
As with most hobbies, you learn a lot at first, but then it levels off and it's really hard to improve beyond that point; and that's where I am, on a plateau called mediocrity. So I'm looking forward to tapping into some of the experience on here and maybe meeting up with local TP photographers now & again :)
