Hi all!
I'm new to this forum and have not been on any photography forums before - plenty of car forums though!
I've been into photography for quite a while but only got serious a few years ago when I upgraded from my ancient Pentax ist to a Canon 600D.
Most of my photography has been of motorsports from one variety or another.
I used to attend many Off-Road Winch Challenges and wrote a couple of Event Reports for Total Off-Road magazine, obviously submitting photographs to suit.
Nowadays work takes up a great deal of my time but I got to Le Mans earlier this year. I bought a ticket and booked accommodation for Wales Rally GB but got ill (a stroke), so that stopped that plan!
Anyway, I got out in some local woods near to my house today and got playing, so thought I might as well look up a photography forum to join - so here I am!
I hope to pick up some tips and skills along the way and get some feedback on some of my shots. I know what I like, dislike and what I think looks right and wrong but this does not always agree with other's points of view when looking at critiques in magazines etc, so it would be interesting to see what experienced people think of some of my shots!
I also look forward to seeing other people's shots and how they achieved them. I've lots to learn!
Rob
