I've been lurking a little while taking it all in, but thought it was finally time I joined up!.

who has helped me out no end so far 
As for my kit, I've got a 450d which I bought to take to Kenya with me last year with a 70-300IS lens which I have just moved on and replaced with a 100-400 L, which I am seriously impressed with.
My main photography is wildlife/aircraft/cars, am no good at portraits but is something I'd at least like to get a bit better at.
Anyway, look forward to reading/learning/sharing more from you all
