Hello everyone, a newbie from London here saying hi and thanks.
On Monday this week, I was attempting to take night-time snaps in Trafalgar Square. Some people were out on a photoshoot and I got talking to one gentleman with a nikon D3, 24-70 f/2.8 and a tripod who kindly pointed out how much easier it is to work with a tripod for night work. He then castigated one of his friends for being a Canon shooter. A nice and friendly lot. He then also recommended I look up talk photography as a good forum to join, with tasks, critiques and pretty much everything you could want about photography, so here I am. Don't know the name of the person who recommended the site to me, but thanks!
Equipment: Nikon D700, 24mm AF-D f/2.8, 50mm AF-S f/1.8
