Newbie from Kent

Hi All

Was recommended this site from Detailingworld by Multipla Mick (not sure if thats the same on here).

Looking at getting into the world of photography, planning on getting my DSLR this week. Looking at the Sony A200 - any comments? Its almost half price on Amazon so seemed like a good buy.

Hoping to capture some motorsport, general cars, the usual holiday snaps and just whatever I come across when out and about.

Right, enough from me for now, expect lots of questions from now on!

Have fun with your new camera - advice aplenty here.
Sorry don't know about Sony DSLR's but I have seen some good pics taken with them on the forum.
My advice would be to think about your lenses as well and if you can continue to use them if you upgrade the body.
