Hi,

My name is Vicky, I am 23 from Basingstoke.

I am a total photography newbie, well apart from digital photos! :)

I am thinking of getting a Nikon D40, I joined this website to get some advice, and I have heard that this is a good DSLR to start with :)

I am currently searching for a good deal, so if anyone has a spare D40 with lens, let me know.

Welcome to the forum!
Have a read through the 'Talk Equipment' section and you'll get a good idea of how well the D40 will do you.
Then have a browse through the marketplace - some good link there to shops selling pre owned gear and out own sell forum.
 
Hi Vicky, I am from Basingstoke too. I mostly live in Manchester though as I am a student :)
 
Hi and welcome Vicky. Hopefully one day there will be enough 'amazingstokers' here for us to setup our own local group in Basingstoke.
 
There does seem to be a few doesn't there LOL! I've noticed that with a few forums now!
