Newbie advice needed: Best site for uploading photos to?

Hi there, I was wondering which site people use and why to upload photos to other than private websites. I want somewhere to upload my images to for you guys to have a look at but also so that I can share the pictures with family and friends and organise them. Some people have said there are sites which you can then sell your images for some dosh but I'm no pro, just an early stage hobbist. Ones I am aware of are flickr, photobox, photobucket, istockphoto, webshots,

You sure do its all included in the price of membership
At the top "galleries" > "my photo's"> "upload"
Flika ( Sp?) & photobucket are quite popular as well HTH

most if not all free sites that I am aware of put limitations on file sizes If you are looking for huge file storage I guess you may have to pay

Photobucket is my choice of image host. No restrictions on file size AFAIK (but remember others may have slower connections and they don't want to be too big )

Photobucket limit sizes now unfortunately, Imageshack only limit to 1.5mb file size but they do suffer a bit from pop ups.

I use www.fotopic.net . I have over fifty thousand pictures in my fotopic galleries and no size restrictions.
