Hi all,
Im off to New York in a few weeks time, Ill be lucky enough to be there for the 4th of July celebrations and hope to photograph some of the fireworks.
I read that tripods aren't allowed in New York but I cant find a clear answer whether that is a general rule that applies to everyone or whether it is only for commercial people?
Also, are SLRs allowed to be taken up to the observation decks in both the Top of The Rock and the Empire State Building? In both their websites, it says professional cameras aren't allowed.
I would really appreciate it if those that have been to New York can answer my questions. I need to start planning my holiday and I cant wait to get there.
