New website

Very proffessional Tom, easy to navigate, and your pictures look amazing.

Agree with Lesco - looks very professional, loads fast and shows off your pictures. I didn't find it difficult to browse around at all.

The only thing I thought of is the Splash Screen - I think it might be better to go straight into your main website. At the moment, your main website is given as much prominence as your "Visit us on Facebook" box, and the Facebook "F" logo is more striking than your own. There's nothing wrong with your logo at all - it's just that the Facebook "F" is more instantly recognisable. I would give it less prominence, and maybe add it somewhere else on the main site. Likewise, I would do the same with your blogs; you're clearly running a business, so you want to promote your photography. Blogs are nice to have, but I expect most clients won't really give a toss what's going through your head on any particular day - they want to know what you offer, how good you are and how much it's going to cost.

As such, I would relegate the two blogs and "Visit us on Facebook" to somewhere else within the main site.

Great site other than...... you guessed it the splash screen and the music. The site is really clean and gives a real sense of being family/child friendly - which of course is exactly what you are trying to get over to the audience.

I agree with Photo Plod's comments on the prominence of Facebook and blogs over the link to your own commercial site. I have to say I liked the blogs as it does give a taster for a variety of different images, approaches and thoughts you go through before settling on the final set of photos for the client. However the potential client would probably cut to the chase.

There's some really excellent images across the site but no more so than the one with the teddy bear's arm round the baby in the park on the rolling header on Aneta's blog. The close up is on the main website the I love the letterbox effect.

Another call on the splash screen and muzak. I endorse the prominence issues regarding your personal and business sides of the site. I would also add that spelling is important. In your prices page you have spelt individually rather oddly in one instance and further down you talk of Holly Communion instead of Holy Communion ;)
