New website feedback needed

Hi guys,

I'm new to this forum and thought I could gain some valuable feedback for my new website that I've just launched.

I'm running it on Wordpress using ProPhoto. My son designed it for me and we went for a clean minimal look that focuses more on the imagery. Personally I think we achieved that but obviously there is always room for improvement.

The website was designed on a mac and so how it's presented in the browser is different to how a windows computer displays it. I'm aware that for some users the fonts will not look like intended and I'm trying to find a workaround or alternative fonts to you. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

+ Fairly clean layout
+ Photos have been sharpened well for web
- Text in nav bar has the top chopped off of it
- Fonts on the site don't render well so look quite pixelated
- The blog posts 'What really matters' are repetitve and have clearly been done for SEO purposes. There are better ways to go about better SEO.
 
Thanks for the constructive criticism theurbanclown I'm aware of the nav bar and I'm working on finding a suitable web font that renders well across all browsers to replace it. If you have any suggestions that look similar to the current one I'd love to hear them.
