Hiya all. I'm new to the forum and come here because I'm in need of some help. My mum and dad told me I take nice pictures so I put an ad on gumtree to take pictures of peoples weddings. Someone phoned me last night wanting me to take picturegraphs of them next weekend for their big day so I said I would. I saw the venue today and it looks very expensive and they said I am not allowed to use a flash.

The flash isn't very good on my phone anyway, so instead of that can I get some people to stand behind me pointing torches at the bride and groom since torches don't flash? If not they might come out dark, will instagram filters be able to sort that out?

If that doesn't work I thought about videoiiing the wedding and taking screenshots with my phone when I see something nice, which will be a lot because my parents always tell me I take nice photos. I figured one video is better than lots of pictures?

I'm pretty much sorted and my dress should outshine the bride so that should make sure they all look at me when I take the pictures :)
 
I can see this is a genuine first time poster so I'll over a quick......[emoji23]

Hope someone brings popcorn.....
 
I'm not on about making a movie, just taking screenshots of it on my phone to save me taking pictures. There isn't anything to watch to need popcorn?
 
Then yeah, sure. I prefer 'Hefe' fwiw, and sweet rather than salted popcorn if anyone's watching.
 
well paula ive seen your pictures and i think they're great ,,,,,just make sure you charge at least £1800 ,,,nothing less for the best,,,,

nah brash wasnt quite so obvious ... this has all the subtlety of being hit in the face with a mallet

Yes to all of the above, plenty of others (on gumtree) seem to be getting away with it.
