new to this

as it says new to this, have a 450d and a few lenses i think i like landscapes seascapes haven't had time to find out yet.
having said that i have a 55-250 cannon efs which is quite a good lens but i think i need one for taking pic of boats out a sea so don't know what to go for next?
hope fully will learn a lot of this site through time sloooooow learner
